Nordic Prosody XIV (NPXIV)
Nordic Prosody XIV (NPXIV) will be held at KTH Royal Institute of Technology
in Stockholm, Sweden,

History
The first conference of the Nordic Prosody series took place in Lund in 1978,
organised by Eva Gårding, Gösta Bruce and Robert Bannert.
Since then the conferences of this series have been organised three more times in Sweden,
three times in Finland, three times in Norway, twice in Denmark and once in Estonia.
This will be the fifth time the conference is organised in Sweden,
but the second time in over 30 years it is organised in Stockholm.

The organising department Speech, Music and Hearing (TMH) was founded in 1951,
75 years ago, by Gunnar Fant.
The day before the conference, on ,
we celebrate this with seminars and festivities.
